The Birt Group is a consulting practice founded by Rick Birt, a nationally recognized leader in traffic safety, prevention, and organizational leadership.
For more than a decade, Rick has worked at the intersection of public safety, government, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement. His career includes executive leadership roles in national nonprofit organizations, directing statewide and municipal traffic safety programs, and advising agencies and stakeholders on strategies that improve outcomes and strengthen public confidence.
Throughout his career, Rick has led initiatives focused on roadway safety, injury prevention, youth engagement, public awareness campaigns, grant-funded programs, and organizational development. He is known for bringing together diverse stakeholders, aligning strategic priorities, and helping organizations navigate complex challenges with clarity and purpose.
